After many years of this silly water gun war, people would figure to either stop it or to stock up in the silly battle. But every year when it came time, other campers would act so surprised by it. Like every year, all of the Hermes cabin woke up extra early to prepare and plan out their attack. Connor was the first one awake and was making sure that he and his siblings were stocked up on water guns and water balloons. Once they were all set, everyone snuck out to the dinning pavilion and waited.

Slowly but surely the rest of Camp Half-blood began to wake up. And slowly and surely, the dinning pavilion began to fill with campers. Gripping and regripping his water gun, Connor could not contain the grin on his face. This was his favorite holiday. He and Travis had started it years ago & while Travis was now off to college, Connor had calmed down the pranks. But he always started the water war. This year was a little different. Normally they told nobody when it would start and it was never consistent. One year it started in the middle of August, while another it was on the 4th of July. This year, Connor had only told Zoey when it started and what time they planned the first strike.

Watching as the pavilion looked like it was full of campers, that was when Connor looked at his siblings and nodded his head. It was go time. In a matter of seconds they stood up, water guns in hands. "Water war!" they all cheered and laughed. And with that, the chaos began. Throwing a few water balloons, Connor quickly ducked behind a table.

Being one of the first people in her cabin to wake up, Aurora undid her hair from the braids she had put it in the night before and make her way to the bathroom. If she was in a good mood, then her shower would only take about fifteen minutes. But if it was an everything shower, then maybe about twenty minutes. But if she wanted to relax, then it could take longer. But today, her shower was quick. After her shower and morning routine was done, she made her way to the dining pavilion with her siblings.

Today was more of a savor breakfast sort of day. Placing an omelet on her plate, Aurora looked over at one of her younger sister who had asked her if it was normal for the dinning pavilion to be empty in the morning. "Sort of" she started, putting a few pieces of turkey bacon onto her plate and grabbing an empty cup. "I think it depends on the day or during the season. Usually more people are here by now, but I think a lot of campers are use to sleeping in." she explained. After donating a small portion of her food, she made her way to the table where her siblings were at.

Everything was still quiet for a little while, something Aurora had chalked up to everybody still waking up and not being a morning person. But all of that seemed to come to a crash halt when a voice yelled something about a water war. And then it all seemed to click in her mind. Of course, it all made sense. All of the Hermes kids were already awake and were hiding. Feeling a water balloon hit her back, she let out a scream as the cold water hit her. Turning to see Connor Stoll himself, she scowled at him. "I am going to kill you Stoll!" she called out to him. "Okay, you guys hide. If you have any Charmspeak, please try to get a few water guns from them" she told them and watched as they scurried off.

The son of Hephaestus could not remember the last time he got an actual eight hours of sleep that was not interrupted. It seemed that any time he even attempted to sleep, he could only sleep for an hour or two before waking up and not being able to go back to sleep. This had been going on for about a month or so, something that he was not really concerned about but had grown use to it. Whenever he would wake up, he would merely drag himself back to the armory to work on projects that he had promised people, or random little trinkets.

A bunch of children from the Aphrodite cabin had asked him to make them all different kinds of jewelry if he had any spare time. They didn't ask for the jewelry to do anything special, they just wanted something pretty and shiny. Chris had managed to make a bunch of earrings and bracelets out of spare pieces of metal rather easily and quickly. His next project was to help with some weapons, mostly just refine and clean. Child's play. What felt like twenty minutes, when in reality two hours had gone by, Chris heard his stomach growl loudly. Putting his things away, he dusted himself off and made his way to get some breakfast before attempting to try and get a nap in.

The dinning pavilion was slowly filling up with people, giving a small wave and a sleepy 'hello' to his siblings he grabbed some food before sitting down. He was not even sure what he had placed onto his plate, it was a mixture of him being tired and hungry for him to even pay attention. But he didn't care as he began to dig in. Chris was stuck in his own little world until he felt something cold and wet hit him in the back of the head. "What the?" he mumbled to himself. Standing up, he looked around to see people screaming and the Hermes kids with water guns, he sighed. "Not again" he mumbled to himself.
