It's Down To Me And You In This Cold And Empty Room.
Camp Half-Blood is home to the children of Greek gods and goddesses. Beyond its borders, heroes are made; heroes such as Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon. It's been almost three years since Percy and his friends defeated Kronos and the Titans. Through those years, they discovered and came into contact with another camp, a Roman camp.
Forgotten What We're Dying For.
Camp Jupiter is where warriors are trained to become Legionnaires and to continue on the legacy of Rome. Demigods have lived peacefully and have started lives and had children of their own in the city of New Rome. Almost three years ago, they helped fend off the Titans on their side of the United States. Afterwards, they came into contact with another camp; a camp they knew little about.
Just Tell Me What To Change; Just Tell Me What To Say.
Through their differences, the two camps managed to form an uneasy alliance - a treaty of sorts. Neither of them wanted to start a civil war for no reason, especially when they didn't know much about each other. However, neither side trusts the other. And when two more camps were discovered, it only served to bring up the question: who's side would the new camps take?
'Cause I Can't Feel It Anymore.
Camp Isis is located in the Texas desert, hidden by the Mist and surrounded by mountains of rocks. It's protected by magical hieroglyphics carved into each stone, creating a barrier that stops mortals and monsters from getting through. For years the Egyptian gods and goddesses kept themselves out of the mess that belonged to the Romans and Greeks. They hid their children and their camp, hoping to keep them neutral at best. The effort they put into protecting their children allowed for many of the demigods to grow older and become staff at camp. However, their camp has been discovered by Camp Half-Blood, who know little about them except that they're demigods. Those at Camp Half-Blood suspect that they could be children of the Egyptian gods and goddesses, but are unsure due to never hearing about those gods and goddesses.
But Why Are We So Incomplete?
Camp Midgard is located in the Canadian wilderness, surrounded by forest along the edge of the Canadian/American border, hidden by the Mist. Like the Egyptians, the gods and goddesses of the Norse mythology thought it best to hide away their children. For years, the campers at Camp Midgard have been training and becoming modern-day vikings. Their parents' efforts to keep them out of the eyes of the Greeks and Romans allowed for many of the demigods to grow older and become camp staff. However, they have been discovered by Camp Jupiter. All that the Romans seem to know are that they are demigods. They have a suspicion that these new demigods are Norse, but are skeptical due to never hearing about the Norse gods and goddesses.
It's Down To You And Me On These Cold And Empty Streets.
To make matters worse, Loki, the Norse god of mischief, has grown bored. In an effort to get some entertainment, he has turned his attention to the demigods, and not just the Norse, but rather all demigods. Finding pleasure in causing trouble, Loki has been using his powers and trickster ways to add even more tension to the Greek/Roman alliance. It has become obvious what he wants: a civil war pitting heroes against heroes. His hand in the matter, though, has remained unknown.
Forgotten What We're Living For.
The alliance between Camp Half-Blood and Camp Jupiter is now tearing at the seams. Both camps are on edge, knowing that a war is coming but unsure of who will start it. The Greeks are now scrambling to prepare themselves, and wondering if the Egyptians will become their allies or foes. The Romans are preparing themselves for victory, but can't help wondering if the Norse will take their side. All the while, both the Egyptians and Norse have been secretly aware of all the other camps and demigods. Just because they were hidden away, that doesn't mean they were clueless. Camp Isis and Camp Midgard have had their own uneasy alliance for years and they both intend to keep it. However, both camps are unsure what they would choose when it came down to a war between the Greeks and Roman.
